Volunteering with Save the Whales has been an incredibly rewarding and educational experience. As a marine science major, I am passionate about ocean conservation and this organization has provided me with meaningful opportunities to make a real impact.

Through various events, I’ve helped spread awareness about environmental issues and promoted sustainable solutions. At Home Depot, I labeled non-toxic products to encourage healthier alternatives. During a community event, I engaged with children to educate them about plastic pollution. In Monterey County, I helped place emblems on storm drains to remind the public that these waterways lead directly to the bay, discouraging dumping and pollution.

Save the Whales does an amazing job combining hands-on conservation efforts with public outreach and I highly recommend getting involved! Whether you're passionate about marine life, environmental education, or simply want to get involved, this organization offers incredible opportunities to learn, contribute, and inspire change!
