Hi my name is Carlos Morales Portalatin and I have been part of the BWSF for the past year. With this scholarship’s support, I was able to confidently enter my junior year at Villanova in my pursuit of my passion for computer science. This scholarship has allowed me to focus more earnestly on my studies than I otherwise would have. Not just that but has also afforded me the time to become more involved on campus, as a member of the Wildcat Crossing Committee and W.I.S.E (Working to Be Informed, Studious, and Engaged). Ultimately, I believe this scholarship has been tremendously helpful in allowing me to better immerse myself fully into my college life this year both academically and socially without the constant burden of financial concerns.
