We have adopted 2 dogs from this shelter! They explained as much as they could the history and before we could fully adopt They had to be cared back to appropriate weight and health. It took a little bit with the conditions they were in by the time animal welfare could rescue them. Animal welfare (especially McKenna) was extremely helpful. You can see her passion for the animals! She kept tabs on them until she was completely satisfied with their current status. Animal welfare goed above and beyond for animals, adoption homes and their foster families! We're very lucky to have this group in our town!
