I initially got involved with the Society to help facilitate adoptions with a "Pet of the Week" program. I had no idea what I was about to learn.

The Society's facilities are second-to-none, the animals are loved and cared for in a comfortable and safe environment. All of their needs, even surgical needs, can be met on site.

But as amazing as the above was to see up close and firsthand, it was the Society's people that impressed me the most. The dedication shown by the staff, their true unbridled joy in helping every single animal they possibly can, is truly remarkable.

The Society, its people, and its facilities, emanate a genuine love for those animals in need. It is powerful, and the 24/7 lifesaving is the proof in the pudding.

The entire community is lucky to have such an outstanding nonprofit doing such amazing work for the most vulnerable of animals.
