I found a baby possum on my driveway yesterday morning and I thought that he was dead, but to my surprise he was alive. 😊 I had no idea what I could do for him, but I talked to my son and he looked up Wild Nature Rescue and gave me Jodie Smith’s number.
I called Jodie, who then directed me to Jennifer who specializes in rehabilitating possums. Jennifer was so helpful and happy to take the feisty little joey. My dog Honey and I drove 30 minutes to where she lives and she was so nice and understanding.
She told me this morning, that he weighs 9 grams and had 3 tube feedings last night. I sure hope he makes it!
Jodie and Jennifer were so kind, concerned and eager to help in giving this little guy a chance.
They are truly wonderful ladies!!����
