After losing Bebe (a 12 yr old female Pit/Catahoula), my 3 yr old Speck was lethargic and listless. We both missed her.

I decided to adopt another dog from Charleston Animal Society, where I picked up Speck 2 yrs ago. I reviewed available female dogs on their website, read the bios, looked at pics, and chose one to meet. She was located at the CAS facility in Ravenel, so I loaded up Speck to meet her as well.

It was a great decision!

She is so full of energy and affection that Speck has been re-energized and I have a huge smile on my face.

Many thanks to CAS and especially the staff in Ravenel. Christine was prompt with email replies, and along with MariClaire and Taylor, they answered my questions and made recommendations for a smooth transition.
