Update 04/25: Shadow Cats One Life Fund helped Bean with another appointment and we are so grateful for the support from this organization!! 02/25 I am so grateful to Shadow Cats Rescue for covering medical costs to care for this stray kitten I named Bean. Bean is around 6 months old and has a bad skin infection and weighs only 3 lbs. I am so happy he was approved for this fund. In less than 24 hours from applying he was approved, I bought him a carrier and took him to the vet. Sheila was with me every step of the way via text which I also appreciate as it was my first time doing anything like this. I just knew this kitten in my neighborhood needed care and he is so incredibly sweet, but I did not have the finances to cover the cost of his care and someone on a local facebook kitty group recommended applying for the One Life Fund. Shadow Cats is also covering cost to neuter him as well in a few weeks and I am working on helping him gain weight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Shadow Cats you are AMAZING , if any cat deserved this care and attention it was sweet Bean!!!! The moment I pet him, he fell in love with being pet, despite being shy and a little jumpy around people.
