Back at the end of 2020 we saw on ARMs Facebook page a picture of this little black mare with a foal by her side. The foal was already weaned and adopted but Obsidian was untouchable and needed a special home. We had to have her and lucky for her ferals are my favorite. In Feb 2021 we picked her up and brought her home. First day I had a halter on her and was able to groom her some. Over time she turned into our most valued horse on the farm. She carries elderly riders carefully, babysits loud children, listens to the teenagers as they take their leisurely trail rides. She can be ridden bareback and bridle-less, and is the perfect candidate for costume contest (2x winner). She holds countless ribbons and trophies, and this is all just the start to a fun exciting life. Thanks to ARM for rescuing this mare we get to enjoy making priceless memories.
