I cannot say enough about Judey and the BINC foundation. I lost my mother and my only remaining family member in April of 2024 from stage 4 Pancreatic cancer ( no life insurance policy ) causing me to relocate from California to Oklahoma. My funds were limited from having to bury my mother ..to relocating...to taking a DRASTIC pay decrease from state to state..I fell behind in my rent and was faced with eviction. I am now living paycheck to paycheck and it has been rough. With all my bills it got so bad that I couldn't afford food or the basics like toilet paper or other day to day life issues. Once I contacted BINC they showed so much concern. BINC and Judey helped me with my back rent as well as my next month's rent to hopefully help me get caught up. I am grateful for this. Judey also sent me links for other options as far as food banks. It has lifted a weight off my shoulders. Once I get caught up 100% I will pay it forward to all other booksellers in the same situation.
