There are charities that raise money, and there are charities that deliver. Variety the Children’s Charity of Illinois is the latter. I’ve been to many charitable events where you know you’re dropping some cash and don’t see the outcome. At Variety, I see the outcome. You can visually see where your money went. We are often challenged to get out of our comfort zone to accomplish things we never thought we could. Here I watch Variety bring those challenges into the comfort zone of those that cannot take those first steps themselves. They give these children the tools and support they needed to accomplish things they never thought they could, sometimes without them ever realizing it. Are you donating because you were asked, or are you donating because you wanted to make a difference? If you want to make a difference, this charity will see it through.
