We have been involved with Share for about 15 years or so, have over 20 students go through our home. We have met a lot of great students and a few families. We come from a military background and are very interested in other cultures and like to share our home with others. Due to that, this made it an easy decision to get involved with the program. The majority of the students that have come through our home have been a great match for us. However on occasion a student comes up that doesn't mesh with the family and share has been a great helping to find a solution, so both students and host families can have a good experience. We have maintained connections with the majority of the students that have come through our home. We have plans to travel and see some of our former students in the future. Although our children are completing school, we still want to be a part of the organization and will continue in a new role going forward. We have good mentors in the organization that will make our transition to a lead roll go smoothly, I am sure. We really look forward to this new role. If you have ever thought about travel, learning about other cultures, or hosting an exchange student this is the best organization to be involved with. There are many countries, and students to chose from, there are students out there that will pair with every family who might be interested. This is great for your family as well as for the students that come to stay.
