On my journey with Udayan Care volunteering for 15 days, I connected with students through introductions and singing, which eased their shyness. I then engaged them in academics,taught some topics apart from their coursework to have their overall knowledge by giving examples, teaching various subjects including psychology to one the older child and addressing doubts, while some explored art,some engaging games and was assigned for reviewing the documents. A heartfelt gesture—a cup of tea from a student—overwhelmed me. Ending with exam revisions, one of the child made my sketch on the last day & their warm goodbye made my day truly memorable by presenting their handmade cards.
