Dear Free2Luv team, thank you so much for a chance to have your brilliant EXPRESS IT! program in Russia. We are the team of the non-profit project "Awareness Can Stop Gender-Based Violence". And by now we had the EXPRESS IT! program performed twice: first in Samara with a group of 11 to 15 year old teens, then in Moscow with a group of 13 to 14 year old teens. At the end of the workshops we asked the participants for their feedback. Here’s some of their replies.

What was your favorite topic?

“My emotion wheel”;
“All the pages about music”;
“The page with the things I like about myself. It was significant to me and helped to raise my self-esteem and treat myself better”;
“I’m so glad that during these workshops I got a chance to accept that my doodling is okay. It helps thinking. As for the topics, the most relevant to me were those pages that concern inner resources” etc.

End up the phrase with your own experience: “Before it was harder for me… Now I’m better at…”

“Noticing small acts of kindness that other people give me”,
“Before it was harder for me to regulate my emotions, now it’s easier”,
“Accept myself and make photos or selfies”,
“Share with other people in the group” etc.

As a facilitator I find these workshops really great. The participants met them with enthusiasm and devotion. No doubt they were highly relevant for the teens. We are sure that developing emotional intelligence is a highly effective way to help teens learn safe and non-violent relations with themselves, others and the world. Sincerely, Anastasia
