I originally found Sandy Paws Rescue about 4 years ago when my boyfriend and I were looking to rescue a puppy. They had posted pictures of the sweetest looking litter and I submitted our application with the understanding that you might not always get your first selection of pups. Luckily, we were contacted a few days later by the foster mom of one of the girls in the litter and she thought we would be a great match! The adoption process was pretty simple and we met our girl about a week later. Sandy Paws was a great organization to work with and we love that they work hard to ensure their rescues are in a loving foster before they are adopted to their forever homes. I also appreciated that they actually looked into our references before adopting. They really care about the animals in their care and it’s nice to know they won’t just adopt out to anyone looking for a dog. Our Sandy Paws girl (Millie, FKA Flip Flop) is a sweetheart and everyone who meets her adores her. I’d recommend Sandy Paws to anyone looking to rescue and we will absolutely be using them again when we are ready to add to our pack!
