Review for Imprints of Honor (formerly Veterans Heritage Project), Phoenix, AZ, USA
Imprints of Honor (formerly Veterans Heritage Project) is a non-profit organization that leaves an indelible mark on students, teachers, veterans, and volunteers. I have had the privilege of working with Imprints of Honor for six years. As an alum, I fondly reflect on my memories and the relationships I fostered when participating in this exceedingly impactful program. From Veterans Day Parades, book receptions honoring veterans, working as a student intern, editing stories, publishing layouts, and serving as the President of my home club at Shadow Mountain High School, I have learned lifelong skills that have paved the way for my future at Yale University and beyond. These skills and lessons include leadership, story writing, community, and character, to name a few. Imprints of Honor has shaped me into who I am today and has given me many opportunities to thrive and explore meaningful connections and stories I will cherish forever. I highly recommend you look into this non-profit, support it where you can, and share in the community’s mission of service and honor.
