Review for Women's eNews, New York, NY, USA
I have been receiving Women's e-News for almost a year. In its near-daily detailed stories, I learn more about the issues women face all over the world. The stories are personalized to show the impact these issues have, but are also linked to politics, feminism, psychology, sociology and cultural studies so that their context can be amplified. I feel more in touch with women around the world. This is imperative for me, as I am in the midst of writing a doctoral dissertation about cultural projections on women and the mythologies that build up around them. Thanks to Women's e-News, I am able to examine these ideas in light of the lives of women who face unbelievable challenges and who continually succeed under the mantle of gender oppression. Through these stories and the connections they have helped me make, I am reminded daily why I am doing the work that I do.

include more references for reading, organizations to contact, and suggestions for action at the end of the stories. There are usually references available, but I want to be able to reach out as much as I can in my work and Women's eNews is a great source for that.
