Review for Lifestyles for the Disabled Inc, Staten Island, NY, USA
This program is simply amazing. its a very welcoming environment that takes Developmentally disabled adults and provides them with a daily program filled with different groups to best fit the clients abilities and preference, giving them compensation for the work done. the staff are extremely loving, and really do care for the clients as the clients enjoy their staff. Not only is it a hard working environment but a bonding experience. The clients really enjoy coming each day, where they spend time with their peers ,and improve their skills to be the best that they can be in life. Every friday in the summer we provide a BBQ for the clients and hold a dance party and karaoke to celebrate a good weeks work has once again been accomplished.

Yes, met many new friends in the staff and the clients, helps you better to understand the developmentally disabled and appreciate them.

this is the type of experience that makes you feel amazing at the end of the day. It is a very rewarding , for you know and feel that you made a difference to these wonderful people
