My experience w/ Beethoven Foundation was extremely positive. I had a Mason & Hamlin grand piano that was in good playing condition (certainly not 'mint condition' or 'like new'), and they accepted it as a donation to further their mission of matching pianos with students. Their movers that came were very professional and got the large, heavy piano out without any difficulty or damage to my house. Highly recommend Beethoven Foundation for piano donations!
