Review for Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network Inc, Philidelphia, PA, USA
We have volunteered for this organization now for several years. It provides temporary housing in churches and synagogues for people and families who are awaiting more permanent housing. We have cooked meals, as well as served and eaten with the families. Our children have been able to be involved and the experience puts a very human face on issues of unemployment, homeless and the need for dignity and respect.
