Review for The Jazz Gallery, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 4 stars

Over my years involved with the music culture of New York, I have always found my experiences at The Jazz Gallery to be that week's highlight every visit. The staff is warm and knowledgeable, plus they book a myriad performers, presenting both well known and little known with the same enthusiasm. Musicians like Taylor Ho Bynum, Steve Lehman or Tony Malaby, are a few examples of artists who have developed and widened the listener's aural palette through The Jazz Gallery.
The facility itself has seating for each performance and is clean with bathrooms and free water. It is a location to nurture music appreciation, not sell drinks and food or for "hanging out". I greatly appreciate The Jazz Gallery for its devotion to the arts.
