I've been volunteering here for the past couple of years now. What an amazing organization that does so much for the community. I was in facts surprised to hear how long they have been around, more than 50 years - that's quite incredible. I was at the Back To School and Gift of Hope events recently and they were just incredible. Seeing the smiles on the kids faces at Back To School as they got clothes, backpacks, school supplies - all for free. Gift of hope was even more fun with this Carnival theme they did. Families got holiday necessities and the kids enjoyed games, popcorn, pretzels and even cotton candy. They had such a blast and it was so meaningful to us volunteers to be able to see our impact on their lives so starkly. I also volunteer at the office sometimes and the dignity with which they treat others is something to see. The staff is warm, welcoming and so dedicated. With strong and empathetic leaders - this is just an awesome organization to support and I am so glad I am able to help them.
