I have fostered in the K9 For Warriors program for over six months. They say that they are contributing to both ends of the leash. My end of the leash is taking care of Foster dogs on the weekends and other times that they need to be with me I have always had dogs in my life, but I am not going to have a forever dog so this is a way to fulfill my end of the leash. Everyone of the dogs that I have fostered are absolutely wonderful companions and will be fostered to a deserving service person. Everyone that I have talked to in my retirement community has applauded my work with K9 For Warriors and I can say several of them have been interested in fostering also. I look forward to my weekend with my foster K9s for Warriors so that I may contribute to their upbringing.
