I first learned about K9's several years ago when a friend of mine I served with in Afghanistan was struggling with significant mental health issues relating to his combat experiences. Several of us got together on numerous occasions to help, but nothing seemed to work. One of our friends heard about K9's for Warriors and we got our buddy accepted into the program. Since graduating and getting his service dog, his life has blossomed. He is happy, well-adjusted and employed. I have no doubt that dog saved his life!!

My company now supports this organization through fund raising activities, and I couldn't be prouder!
