Playworks is an amazing partner. Recess is one of the most important parts of student's school day. Through Playworks, recess has been transformed to a fun and engaging time, where students actively participate in physical activity. Recess supervisors have learned how to teach students life skills such as conflict resolution. Recess is no longer a place where students just hang out and playground supervisor just watch for misbehaviors. Instead, it is a preplanned portion of the day, where students are actively engaged.

This partnership has truly become a partnership. Playworks staff take the time to meet schools where they are and adapt accordingly. It is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Other programs merely provide extra supervision. Whereas, Playworks teaches and empowers our staff. So powerful!!
