Because of CAMP, we were able to make important first steps in allowing our daughter to be independent so she can one day live an independent life away from home. This was her first time to spend the night with a non-family member. It was a big adjustment for me as I am so accustomed to KNOWing whom she is with and being able to request/receive texts and communication with/about her. CAMP was harder for me than for her. However, I did relax. And most importantly, she had a GREAT time!
