I was telling my physical therapist about Days for Girls. She was from India. She told me how much Days for Girls would have meant to her when she was a teenager back ion India. She told how her mother and sister did not leave the house during their period. However, she would wrap cloth in her panties and go to school because she knew the only way out of her situation was through education. Naturally many times it leaked through and she was embarrassed. Up to that point I had never met anyone who could have been helped by Days for Girls. It made me realize what a blessing Days for Girls is.
