A few years ago, I met the group at the Fairgrounds in OC at a Pet Expo. Everyone's care and commitment to information were obvious, as was their concern for the dogs. I found a dog, and I was sold! What came next was an array of teaching and adoption inspection experiences. Dogs don't just go anywhere; you must qualify. Lola was my best friend, fellow adventurist, and the third member of my small family. Years later, Lola became mysteriously ill and didn't make it through the night. She left us with not just fond memories but with a lifetime of experiences and teachings. Not to mention her fur, which we still find at times. I returned to the organization to give my time so that another family may find the happiness that I found in my dog through the group. Then I fostered a puppy. Yup, Lulu found us and has never let go. She has been a ball of joy and comedy that lights even the heaviest of hearts. The association has been there every step of the way to assist us with our new family member. It is great to see how the open hearts of a few have helped so many. Thank you,
