I had always wanted to foster cats and was so happy when I got the opportunity to at Gifford back in 2021. Since then I've shifted into an in-person shelter volunteer role and even adopted my own cat from Gifford back in March of this year. I've always loved the diversity of cats that Gifford takes in for adoption and their willingness to teach volunteers new skills overtime. They've developed very cat-friendly, fun, stimulating rooms in the new building that I hope will temporarily house many more cats to come. The staff has always been dedicated to taking care of and making cats feel at home. Fantastic place to volunteer and adopt, would highly recommend.
