I have been involved with Wild Tomorrow since 2017. I met my husband when I was on safari in South Africa at Kirkman’s Kamp (he was my safari guide). We fell in love and traveled to many safari camps all over Africa during our 3 year long distance relationship. He ultimately moved to the US, we got married and we now have two young boys. When he was moving to the US I found Wild Tomorrow as an org where he could stay connected to conservation in South Africa while living in NYC. We were both ambassadors for many years and I ultimately joined the board two years ago. We have visited the Wild Tomorrow land 3x with our kids and are just amazed at the progress we have made from a conservation standpoint in a few short years. It’s nothing short of remarkable. The wildlife that is coming back in an area that was barren due to monoculture farming is making a huge difference in one of the world’s few bio diversity hot spots. This is a non profit to watch and contribute to as it’s being done right and making a significant difference when it comes to the future of our planet.
