My Nonprofit Reviews

I'm interning with OCT after learning about their impactful work in my law course at Columbia. I'm honored to be a part of such a dedicated organization that is spearheading the initiative to secure youth's right to life and to a safe climate. This work is especially meaningful to me in light of the 2024 election results, and it gives me hope to see so many people actively working to address the climate crisis. At OCT, I've been on the ground at Capitol Hill educating members of Congress about the landmark Juliana v. US case and urging them to cosign an amicus brief letting the case proceed to trial. It was incredibly powerful to watch the number of cosigners grow over just a few days. I feel great satisfaction knowing that my voice contributed to an amazing team effort that exceeded our goals - more than 40 Congress members supported children’s climate rights and the Juliana youth plaintiffs' right to be heard in court!
