My Nonprofit Reviews

I was hired as a third-party photographer for Planet Water Foundation's community water filtration system projects for marginalized villages and areas hit by disasters in the Philippines, Brazil, and Morocco. These experiences gave my work a deeper purpose because I got to shoot the people's smiles as they drink and wash their hands with clean, safe water. I feel connected in making them laugh and feel comfortable to catch the genuine happiness from their faces. I may have captured their memories on my camera, but I was also captured by their joy. There is something so precious during those times that I deeply resonated with. Each photo had a soul that told a story. I am very grateful for the opportunity to share through my lens the impact that Planet Water Foundation is making in the different parts of the world.
