Review for Crusaders For Kids Inc, Pekin, IL, USA

Rating: 1 stars

Very unorganized and unprofessional. Their main concern is to have a big drunkin party with all their friends called an event and if there is any money left over, they give it to local area children. Last year a lot of the volunteers put numerous hours in only to be disappointed with the lack of money left over from the event, to give away to kids, a mere 2000. Last year I tried to convince the board to get sponsors, for this years headline band, instead of using the money that was put back to use on local area children. Each year the percentages of money going out to the kids is less and less.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

percentages given to children each year going down

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure that a certain percentage was taken out of the profit from each event.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Everything other than the way the organization is ran.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all great.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help alot of local area children who are physically challenged.

Ways to make it better...

the president and treasurer would of had more respect for me and helped me to seek out sponsors for this years event instead of using cash.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

finding volunteers for this years event, sponsors for next years event and cash to give away, since all the cash is being used for the headline band this year.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I enjoyed working for Crusaders for Kids. just wish I would have had some statistics to go by, through out the years so I wouldn't have been so blinded.
