I've been volunteering with Young Heroes since they began in 2006. I've seen tremendous growth over the past 20 years but Young Heroes has never strayed from its core mission and integrity. Young Heroes is a place where I can contribute to a true local grassroots organization that is making a tremendous life altering impact on the people they are serving by building-capacity and meeting each individual where they are at. Over 20 years I've seen orphans successfully complete school and become nurses and teachers so they can now support their own families-it's truly remarkable!
