The Sudden Cardiac Foundation was life line to me after my Sudden Cardiac Arrest. As I have worked my way through my OHSCA, Mary Newman has answered personal questions, advised, directed and supported me, No question has remained unanswered. The site itself educated me in ways that others could not understand. It was also the only place I could communicate with other survivors. Being able to participate in The People Saving People Nomination to honor my Heroes was very healing. To be honest, a Sudden Cardiac Survivor may not even understand what it is that they need. It is safe here to explore those feelings, while becoming educated about an experience that takes a long time to process. I am thankful for many things, being here is one of them.
