Evening Rainbow Corporation is a great non-profit that partners with Religious Sisters in Chile and has helped provide upgrades to a retirement/nursing home for the Sisters. The retirement home opened in October of 2021. It is called Evening Rainbow Home; the “Rainbow” symbolizes the 13 Congregations of Religious Sisters and the “Evening” represents the evening of life!! Some of these same Sisters have served in the past young, unwed mothers in Chile and their newborn children through the Merciful Love Connection Refuge. It is good and right that the Sister’s living situation be improved after all of their years of service to others. Some of the improvements so far have been providing a secure outdoor space in case of fire or earthquake emergency and putting in energy efficient thermal windows in the gallery to help reduce heat transfer from the cold, Chilean winters and the heat of summer.
