As a Financial Counselor for Birch Community Services, I get to work 1-on-1, with the participants who benefit from the food program, on their finances. There is a consistent pattern of them joining the program, gaining the motivation to better their finances, and using the grocery savings to make progress on their finances. It's a great way to set people up for long-term success.
