Review for Snowbird Outfitters Inc, Andrews, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This was an experience I was first hesitant about. It was a different environment that I wasn't used to, but when I finally decided to go I never thought that I would enjoy it as much as I did. Snowbird is an exciting adventure from start to finish. Between the fun activities like rafting, playing on their gym-like equipment, and the hilarious skits, there is never a dull moment. The critical thing that people need to know about SWO is that it's not just about the fun activities you get to do there, but the people and events that help strengthen your relationship with God, or if your not already a believer, can help you become one. The sermons every morning, the breakout sessions, and the evening talks with the counselors all give the campers a chance to grow in their faith whether a young believer or someone who has been faithful for a long time. The staff makes you feel very comfortable, making you feel that you can share anything with them and knowing that they are there to answer an questions you may have is a great feeling. I went into camp thinking I was a pretty strong believer, and would end up helping others more, but it turned out I learned more things to help me. It helped bring about issues I needed to deal with and the staff was right there to help alleviate the emotional stress, and clear my doubts. After going to the camp, I think that had I not went I would've missed out on a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship with my friends and have fun in the summer, but also learn so much about the wonderful God we serve. It was an awesome adventure, and I can't wait to do it again!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The changes it made in my life, and the help it brought to dealing with the issues in it.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I wouldn't change anything except find a way to extend my stay another week!

Role:  General Member of the Public & I was a camper.
