Eccentric and unique yet deep and thoughtful, the programming offered by Uptown Stories designed to help young people of Upper Manhattan speak their truth regardless of family income constraints is truly wonderful! My experiences with this program as a teaching assistant and administrator far exceeded my expectations! The committed teachers and staff love the community of students and want the best for them. The students are engaged and not jaded about learning. It seems like everyone involved truly wants to be there.
