SCA Foundation exists to support both survivors and co-survivors of sudden cardiac arrest. I found the organization following my husband's survived cardiac arrest two years ago. Prior to that event, I would have dismissed a term like "co-survivor." But the trauma of discovering my husband experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, performing CPR on him and our journey through his recovery have changed my perspective immensely. This group provides a community of support at whatever level you want and need. I am grateful to SCA Foundation for helping me put a name to my experience, to know I'm not alone and to share and heal with others.
