My experience with the Kansas Legal Services was very positive. I have a disability that over many years of emergency medical care; ended up piling up a large medical debt that I knew that I would never have paid off before the end of my life. Kansas Legal Services helped guide me through the negotiation process of this debt with minimal anxiety.

I would recommend to ALL Kansans who are eligible to seek legal counsel with this organization to do so. My quality of life is so much better now that I am no longer having to avoid collection phone calls, filling another medical debt collection letter, or feeling as if my health care needs would be overlooked due to a debt that I could not pay off immediately.
