Global Giving is not like other crowd-funding platforms I have come across. As a donor through Global Giving, I know I am giving to grass-roots organisations around the world, and I will hear directly from them about how donations have helped them. I like the fact that local leaders are empowered to help their communities.

As an organisation that works with Global Giving, we have received way better value than from other platforms. Global Giving doesn't just give us the possibility of reaching potential supporters around the world, they also provide training and fantastic matching campaigns. If you make a donation during one of their matching campaigns, Global Giving will add a percentage to the donation, making the help go much further on the ground.
