Everyone who comes to The Right Step, Inc. is warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for by the exceptional staff and volunteers, who also give the best possible care to the therapy horses. This small nonprofit is making a big impact on the lives of the clients who eagerly participate in adaptive horsemanship program.

Both The Wild Animal Sanctuary and The Wild Horse Refuge stellar nonprofits. After recently visiting The Wild Animal Sanctuary, it was refreshing to see so many younger people who volunteer and are very enthusiastic about the rescued wild animals at the sanctuary. The facility provides a tremendous amount of education to visitors and is easy to enjoy seeing the animals in large enclosures while walking above the raised walkway.

Well, I have not visited The Wild Horse Refuge yet, I was very honored to feature an article written by Founder and CEO Mr. Pat Craig in the Winter 2023 issue of EquuStyle Art & Travel magazine. To have 23,000 acres for wild horses to be returned to freedom is simply amazing and an effort worth supporting by everyone who loves wild horses.

America’s wild horses are vanishing because laws that were enacted 50 years ago are not being enforced by the Bureau of Land Management. The Wild Horse Refuge wild is one of the most outstanding solutions to preserve wild Mustangs in an open and free habitat. Both The Wild Animal Sanctuary and The Wild Horse Refuge deserve to be recognized as outstanding and model nonprofit organizations.
