Jeri Baker and her organization One Spirit are are truly incredible. This organization has been pivotal in addressing many of the difficult conditions on the Pine Ridge Reservation South Dakota. The statistics regarding health indicators at Pine Ridge are among the worst in North America and have been conspicuously ignored and or neglected by most of the world. One spirit provide support for food insecurity with the construction of a buffalo processing facility as well as other endeavors regarding regenerative farming, as well as providing programs for youth, education, and overall betterment of quality of life for those Lakota Oklala Sioux living on the reservation. The statistics are blistering with 800% type two diabetic related deaths from pantries stocked with processed foods. One spirit will definitely move the needle with reference to overall health and education for this reservation. They are an outstanding organization, and I have the upmost respect for their incredible work. They are definitely worthy of support, their quest to expand facilities to provide fresh protein and produce as well as education for those that suffer on Pine Ridge. They are truly a bright light in a landscape of despair. I hope this five star recommendation helps to get them the support that they so desperately need thank you for this opportunity.
