Assistance League of Charlotte does an amazing job of reaching out to students via their Mecklenburg County Teen Court program. This alternative to the justice system for juveniles ages 12-17 offers students the chance to learn from their mistakes. What a unique and meaningful way to impact students and families in the community. The coordination with Law Enforcement, Meck County attorneys, and other resources creates a positive learning experience for teens and redirects their trajectory. Having had the opportunity to be in the audience while one of the past program graduates defines how this has impacted their life choices – was a tremendous Insite to the good work that Assistance League of Charlotte does throughout the community. I recommend everyone get to know them!
