Review for Big Apple Greeter, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We took advantage of this wonderful service about five years ago for the first visit for most of the four sisters who sent a week in The Big Apple, We selected a tour of Brooklyn. Our Greeter, Warren Lewis, provided us each with a one day subway pass and introduced us to subway travel. We took the R & W tio Government Center on the eastern side of the upper-class neighborhood of Brooklyn Heightsd. There were everal play yards scattered throughout the are. We passed Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims, walked the loength of Montague Street, the main drag, and admired the architecture of the buildings. We stopped at St. Timothy Episcopal Church. We walked through Sahade, a Turkish market. I could go on and on about how comprehensive this tour was. There are too many points of interest to mention. We ended our tour with a very nice lunch and bid farewell to our guide who left us at the Brooklyn Bridge which might have been the highlight of this wonderful tour. We walked the full length and by the time we got to the end were ready for a subway ride and return to our hotel. Thanks to Warren for his generosity in sharing his personal time and knowledge of the area we selected to tour.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Taking advantage of the services it offered.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

change nothing. It is a wonderful service.
