I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible work that the International Fund for Economic Development (IFED) does in Bali and Paraguay. My experiences as a volunteer, participant, and donor have shown me the profound impact that IFED has on the communities it serves.

During my travels with IFED, I have helped purchase and deliver essential items and supplies to various projects in these countries. The day-to-day items we often take for granted, such as school supplies, seasonal clothing, shoes, kitchenware, and much more, are considered luxuries by the very few in the countries served by IFED.

In Paraguay, the average monthly income for a family of four is just $350 USD, while in Bali, the average hourly wage is $6.23. These figures highlight the significant economic challenges faced by these communities. IFED’s efforts to provide necessary resources and support are not just beneficial but essential for improving the quality of life for many individuals and families.
