Shanti Bhavan is truly a phenomenal nonprofit with one of the most passionate staff I have ever seen. Being a part of the SBSA program and a leadership representative for the international clubs has been such a pleasure. I have never felt this closely connected to an organization before. After only a year of starting my Shanti Bhavan journey, I have written to the on campus students and seen the impact that was made through our fundraising efforts. The SBSA program is perfect for high schoolers as it is a gradual entry into learning how to market, fundraise, and plan events all for a good cause; highly recommend joining as most nonprofits don't provide this opportunity. I would like to add how proud I am to see an authentic nonprofit that works for those in India and is able to make tangible change through a vast fundraising program that allows us donors to transparently see where our money is going.
