My Nonprofit Reviews

I have been supporting First Nations Development Institute for more than 10 years. Their support has had a tremendous impact on the communities they serve because they listen to those communities and they fund projects driven by the communities themselves, not by an outside agenda. Through their donor trips and newsletters I have seen the impact they are having on food sovereignty, education, art and cultural activities and language revitalization programs. I have met with Native farmers, artists and educators and the enthusiasm and pride in their projects is inspiring. As a non-Native person I have learned a tremendous amount and my commitment to this organization has only deepened.
