Review for Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Society, Gig Harbor, WA, USA
I have volunteered since groundbreaking five years ago. I have watched the museum since it's birth. It was well planned and is coming together to the delight of the community. There is something for everybody. There are hands on activities for all ages, exhibits that foster further study, a pioneer school moved to the site and a teacher who offers real life classes to visiting school children. The museum will be a destination treasure tucked between two historic parks. It couldn't be better.
