My Nonprofit Reviews

First Nations is the most important nonprofit I support. I love the laser focus on indigenous issues, including language immersion, eco-friendly agriculture and many other things related to indigenous culture. Importantly, this nonprofit is directed by leaders and a board of Native American individuals. Their priorities align well with the important issues that need to be addressed in indigenous communities. As indicated by the top rating in Charity Navigator, the vast majority of donated funds are deployed to support relevant projects, with a small percentage used for administrative purposes and fund raising. Leaders are staff are paid well but none receive exorbitant salaries like those I see at certain other nonprofits. Altogether, this is an outstanding nonprofit deserving of notice by Great Nonprofits.
